Search engine marketing begins with optimising your internet pages, but when you do this, you have got to find the right keywords and phrases that people essentially search for

It’s no good being on the top of Google for some thing that not a soul is typing in, yes, you run a cattery and you are number one for; a holiday home for your cat

Individual keywords are little use either as people who are thinking about purchasing are using long tail keywords, generally, a two, three or four word phrase, and not a single word

You need to find purchaser keywords; these are the keywords that people search for when they are geared up to buy

A good example is, type anything into Google and you will be shown a drop down list, these are what people are searching for currently

As for the key word phrase cattery, just like all kinds of other searches done online, people will want local, so if somebody lived in London for example, they are most likely to type in a search for; Cattery in London and not cattery, as this would bring up a lot of irrelevant results

A great way to find related keywords for your new internet site would be to go to the Google wonder wheel, simply just do a search and then scroll down on the left and you will see it, click on that and you'll be shown related keywords that you can then title your web pages with

On your home page, aim to get the most important keywords in the title and on the page, you can go for up to about three in some cases, and obviously, you can then build your internal pages to show these keywords

Long Stay Cattery

Bear in mind, the above keywords will have their particular optimised pages but it is best to have them on your home page

Just have a paragraph about each on these three keywords on your home page using the key phrase inside each appropriate paragraph and linked directly to its relevant page, this works well with all the search engines, links within the actual text

As talked about before, try to find the right keywords and phrases to use, just give it some thought before building your pages

Always use what we call long tail keywords, this are buyer keywords and a three word term is the very best if you can use it, although two can be fine if your particular product or service is not too competitive

Once you have identified the appropriate keywords, developed your web pages and optimized them, you need to think about what to do next
Well, no one knows more about what you happen to be selling than you, do they, so why don't you sit down and write about it

Create at least 550 words and subscribe to ezinearticles.com and get your article you have written published on their particular article directory with a link back to your webpage

Another good option is to sign on to squidoo.com, this is yet another free service and you may construct what they call a lens, basically a page all about your web site with pics and also video if you want, then link this web page back to your website also
